[quote=rizpic;539438]Hi Mia,
Ok, I was interestied in going through a UK international pharmacist so I went to website and did a few searching for that. There are 4 universities that you can apply for that international pharmacist trainng program and it looks actually pretty decent enough to pay that money 7500,it may not be though. Anyway, right now I am doing my internship in Calgary. To be honest with you, it used to be half tech and half internship but these days, my role has been changed a lot so I am quiet excited about it. I 've failed Osce the last November 2007 and I ve applied May 2008 so we will see how it goes but I think I should be able to pass this time. It wasn't about knowledge.I think it was about how I speak to patients in the way the Canadain pharmacy board want to be heard. Anyway, Mcq is not that difficult if you've done a decent schooling in your back home. But Osce is about how you behave well enough to be considered as a health professional. Bye now, |

Hey I'm in London U.k
Passed EE jan 2008, and preparing for QE. I'll be interested in sharing and studying with you guys. {Please do not post your email on the web.} Not too sure where to start, is the QE similar to the naplex in the US ? As there seems to be more info about NAPLEX on the internet. Last edited by knok : 03-23-2008 at 03:24 AM. |

Nice to see that you are also in London. I am also preparing for the QE and as far as I know it is all about Clinical expertise. The best book for study in Therapeutic Choices. If you want we can share our plan and support to each other. Regards Rizwan |

For Ontario requirements, if you completed both EE & PEBC and law exam, do you still need to complete 32 weeks of studentship? If not, how long?
What tests do you have to complete first to reduce your required time of studentships and internships? |

And how much do UK pharmacists earn compared to Canadian equivalents? I am hearing that UK pharmacists earn as much as or less than US pharmacists... Last edited by americandream : 03-28-2008 at 11:09 AM. |
