I was also using Shargel plus Appleton plus Pharmacy management in Canada book, plus was reading all and about - some chemestry, some anatomy books. Also was using a lot of the web and wiki specifically - that was helpful to me. I started study in June - July last year and took exam (and even pass ) in January |

Regards. Thanks lady jane for your reply. It seems you have used so many books, and mange to appear for exam with in 6 months, good job. From Shargel are you guys concentrating on particular chapters or have to finish all. One of my friend told me do not skip a single page of Shargel means have to finish all. What you guys think? bye. - |

Hi,
You are doing well; just keep on studying Shargeal, which I believe is the best for this exam. In terms of website, I use PharmacyGateway and I find very useful. I suggest you sign in on this website and read the available materials. Best of Luck Rizwan Hi LadyJane, Thanks for your suggestion and I strated studies and trying to do every day. Which book are you using? I finished CHD, do you know any website which help to evaluate my CHD skills? Thanks. |

Well, I finished all of Shargel but not sure I should. Some chapters you can practically skip - like Adverse drug reaction reporting, Drug info resources, Federal law...
And try not to stick only to one book. In Shargel there is nothing on Viagra, plan B drug for example. Last edited by LadyJane : 2007 July 24th at 10:32 PM. |

I use CPS as a reference at most, also pages on CYP and grape juice and something else I feel I'd better learn
I don't do any notes except for regular paper notes and even if I do they would work only for me, you have to write your own ones. There is a list of recommended books at PEBC choose what is best for you. I didn't think about CHD as a disease thought it's some book ![]() |
