Dear Knok,
I said "Good luck, Go Ahead, God bless (and definitely support) you.

Dear Rarin,
I did say some thing obvious, initial presumption, which must be deemed clearly around a job like providing an Organization in every normal society.

I admire your idea's spirit. But, if you want to be realistic, like having a thousand miles journey, it wouldn’t occur if you do not have its tools such as Goals, Maps, Programs, Reasons, and....

Having a successful Organization is very idealistic, but, it's not out of access.

Why spending time by talking hours & hours to elaborate if it is possible or not?!!!

My suggestion is (if you want to make a successful Organization in the future);

Run a small business, in order to help foreign Pharmacists, to provide them even one of the items in “The Wish List”. (Or at least find someone interested to this position).
I think knock is very professional in this matter, especially “Business Strategies”, since he had studied them here in U.S.

Then, you can extend your ideas easily in the future.

Regards,
Babak

PS. I know there are several companies are doing same job for their benefits.
PS2. I know you are also so busy right now to run such business, organization, … , either if you are a pharmacist, here in US, or in process to be.
PS3. I appreciate Knock’s effort for TOEFL...
.
.
.
.Last PS:
Good Luck, I am writing here only to improve my writing ability, in order to overcome TOEFL exam. Don’t blame yourself so much. Go Ahead. God Bless You.

Babak and Rarin,

Thank you for your messages. No offense. Its goal is not about making profit. We are not going to run a million dollar business. It is a non-profit organization, probably $10 fee. Just for covering mail or small items. We plan to recieve funds from sponsorships.
Let's see what the number we get first. It depends on the number and size of the association.

Knok,
It is almost a year that I'm reading the posts in threads in this forum and related ones.
I see you have, by this Logo "knok", 2,613 posts since 2003. It is really interesting. Nearly, 2 posts per day.
Meanwhile, every body in this forum is aware of your attempts for TOEFL complains.
It takes me, at least 1 hour per day, only reading the posts in different threads.
Could you please let us know how you manage your time everyday that you are able to read almost all posts, not only in this forum but also in the others, and answering them with your documented replies in a few minutes?
I am really curious.
Please, don’t consider my question offensive. It might help others to manage their times better than now.

Appreciate you indeed.

Babak

Babak,

What you asked me about time allocation is out of topic. I'll let you know later how I did it. Gather the people to work first. Then, human resources will do the work. If we don't have human resources, we can't do anything.

I don't dream. We have run a few associations since I graduated more than 20 years ago. I also used to run a charity organization in my family since I was young. It is still there and works well. This kind of organization requires spirit, sacrifice, and generosity. It is a kind of social work.

Knok,
You are right. So, let's go!!!

Dear folks,
We have recently got a post ( (The international graduated pharmacist association & my wish list)http://www.urch.com/forums/pharmacy-...wish-list.html (The international graduated pharmacist association & my wish list) )
which is really an excellent spark (plan) in order to organize & facilitate our burdens of getting Pharmacy License here in US.

There is no limitation in this matter. Anybody from around the world who is decided to get the license can participate.
Of course, it is not complete yet. But, we believe we can come together and start to make its first core (seed) and then grow it little by little.

Actually, right now, we need just your existence shout. Any new idea is really welcomed.

Come on! Don’t hesitate. Just participate in the poll on the top of the page and post your valuable comment here in this thread in case of needed.

Appreciate you all in advance.

Babak

Knok,
Awaiting your response impatiently to my query.

Thanks, Babak. For example, NAPLEX is suspended right now. Some people who were scheduled to take the NAPLEX are still waiting for the emails and letters from Prometric. All of them do not receive the official news about suspension and each one fo us has to find out individually.

My friend knew the news from this web site while she was scheduled to take it this week. If we have an organization, our organization can receive a confirmation from NABP directly. At least, members can have their representative to deal with an issue.

knok,
There is anything left to say that hasn't been said already about this great idea. So, you may count me in. It will bring only benefit and shelter for all of us immigrants in this country. That's the only and the best way we gonna have to have a voice who care for our interests. Does anybody know about a different way? No, right? Let's get to work. To start a project is the 50% of the project itself, so let's get it started, then we can continue working on the other half.
go for it knok,
emac
