I agree. "Foreign" sounds "discriminated."

So far, we have:

1. IPG-US

stands for International Pharmacist Graduate Association in the United States

2. IPGO-US

stands for International Pharmacist Graduate Association in the United States

3. IP-US

stands for International Pharmacist Association in the United States

4. IPharm-US

stands for International Pharmacist Gruaduate Association in the United States

Any ideas?
I'll post these words for voting later after we get some opinions. Just in case, if there is some more discussion.

I would appreciate if you guys can check whether these names are repetitive with other organizations. You know that some names are copyrighted. We don't want to use the copyrighted name.

Hi Knok, Babak and all those instrumental in undertaking this campaign to form an association for international pharmacy graduates. I appreciate your courage and goals and I too would like to lend you my support in the formation of this organisation.

I've been extremely fortunate so far in having a smooth run in this process, however reading the posts on this site has made me realise how hard it is for some of us from other countries. Forming this group will put us in good stead for helping and guiding future graduates as well us give us all international pharmacists practising and living here in the US a united voice.

There might be sticky times ahead, but with all the support you already have, I'm sure we'll cut a path thru them as we proceed and progress. Good luck and keep us posted on how things are coming together here and let us know what you might want us to help out with, if any.

PS: I like the title IP-US as it is simple, easier to remember and non-condescending and extremely clear.

I'm in. I agree that we should stop calling ourselves "foreign". And also we should stop asking in these threads about nationalities of people.

Hi everyone,

Anyone would like to learn about our association, please read this thread. Please drop your application as soon as possible. There is no application fee at this time. After a while, I don't know for sure, there may be a membership fee since association has expenses in running it. In addition, if we can get more members to involve, we may get sponsors as well.
