I have a GA internship license but face the same issue as many of you have in obtaining H1b visas from the big pharmacy chains. A friend of mine, a long time US resident, is willing to set up company that could sponsor my H1b. Is this feasible? The idea is that once I have my Visa and SSN, getting employment as an intern without the locations and 5 year contract conditions is an attractive proposition. He will pay me a salary that is above the minimum required. What do you think. This is done on a vast scale for technology consulting. Can it be done for Pharmacists?

My friend runs a technology company and so he knows the H1b process for technology. He has no Pharmacy experience but if needed he can get licenced US Pharmacists as company officers/partners. The idea is that maybe it will turn into a business venture for him. It could be mutually beneficial.
