Hi mirozoza,
I am in the same situation as you are. Can you tell me if you found internship/sponsor anywhere. I spoke to CVS and Riteaid, and they are not sponsoring as of now. What is your update? Anybody else searching for sponsor's , do let us know the situation at your ends. Thanks, sonal |

Dear swami81,
Did you need sponsorship for H1-B and did you recently get internship in Walgreens? Kindly let us know as this might give us update idea of the market around. I am trying in PA and NJ area. If anyone knows any pharmacy chains that are sponsoring , it would be a great help. Thanks, Sonal |

Hi mirozoza,
I spoke with the rite-aid lawyer who does the H1-B's and he said that since the Naplex was suspended for a few weeks, at present they are stuck with a lot of interns already. Also sponsorship depends on the requirement in our particular state. If we are ready to relocate to some other state Rite-aid might still sponsor. Regarding CVS and walgreens , my experience is the same as your's. I am married in NJ, so I cannot relocate from here. If relocation is an option for you, you might tell that to the chains and that might help you find sponsorship. Keep me posted on your updates. Sonal |

Hi Sonal,
I am in the same situation. I am married in NJ, I am under H4. Relocation will be difficult and very expensive for me. I guess that at some point if I don't have the choice I will do it...So what are the states that offer more jobs? I contacted Walgreens and Rite Aid a month ago and they said that there are no positions for internationals right now. CVS didn't respond at all. Hospitals don't sponsor, it is a burden for them to do it. I don't know what to do. I am desperate...I really need to work now...going through all the process with the NABP then the FPGEE and then this...it's too much...I know I sound negative but it is really a pain. Please some advice. Thank you. |

Dear Aixa,
I hope things get better and hopefully by December / Jan the hiring will start in our state. Please don't loose hope, I know this whole process is so frustrating, but keep patience. I think the chains will start hiring in east coast again by dec/ jan. I would wait for 2 months and see, if situation does not change by jan end then you may think of relocation. I will be doing the same thing. So lets wait and see. If any one has any more infoormation kindly let us know or guide us. Thanks, Sonal |
