Contact info for Major News Agencies
Hello all,
I would appreciate to receive contact information for influential producers/reporters like Sanjay Gupta who work for major US news agencies like CNN (CNN Investigates), NBC (NBC 20/20), CBS (CBS 60 minutes) etc. I want to let them know about unfair treatment experienced by foreign trained pharmacists towards certification. I want them to investigate the matter thoroughly and come up with something. Their findings will be very interesting and might make responsible authorities treat candidates fairly without any form of discrimination. What do you guys think? We have so much evidence to share with them. They may be able to send their representatives to the testing centers and that will be a big blow to irresponsible organizations. Their representatives may even register and take the TOEFLiBT exam... I guess you can predict what they're going to score in the speaking section considering a 15% passing rate for this unrealistic exam to professionals who obtained their degrees on courses that were taught in English... A CNN reporter scoring 24 or 19 will prove our case... I'm sure every citizen of this country will be surprised.... That might be the end ot TOEFLiBT....   The reporters may even contact NABP and get their point of view on this matter. I assure you, this tactic will work and IRRESPONSIBLE authorities will act fast to correct their mess... Otherwise, nature will take its course.... Let's try and see... We can use this as plan B while we proceed with other routes.Since the speaking section is based on organizing a lot of confusing & illogical information within the shortest unimaginable time, a person like Larry King who speaks English clearly & intelligibly at a slow pace might not finish responding to the questions within the allocated unreasonable speaking time (45 seconds)... Can you predict his TOEFLiBT speaking score? Using ETS's scoring criteria, would his speaking score mean that Larry King is not proficient in English? How about world famous CNN reporter Christiana Amanpour? Would her European accent (I like her accent) irritate TOEFLiBT raters? I'm sorry to say that this is the most unfair and unrealistic exam that I've ever attempted in my entire life.. I managed to get the physical addresses for ABC News. I would greatly appreciate your help. Please, help me to get email addresses of influential reporters...
