Hi Bigmoonstar,

How's your internship doing now? Well, I hope you're somehow enjoying it. Mine is doing great now and my DM is getting me trained to do visuals and four point though of course under tight supervision. My store averages 300 Rx/day plus refills and so many troubleshoots. If your store is high volume, I hope you are able to justify that to your DM. The people I work with are extremely nice and respectful. It just really depends upon the personality of the employees not the chain itself. Good luck to all trying to get an internship position.

I think Wal-Mart changed its web appearance lately. It looks different from the one I saw last time. Anyway, I think you could try the following like to contact Wal-Mart: Wal-Mart - Pharmacy Contact Us. Good luck.

You can apply online or personally go to the store and talk to the store manager. You can tell them that you are looking for intern position and ask them for district manager phone no or email whatever is easier for you. I think it also depends on what the pharmacist knows, like I went to one walmart and pharmacist sent me to fill out the application on the kiosk for intern, while other walmart pharmacist gave me the no. for DM.

I've heard NC doesn't need FPGEC, but I'm not sure, so don't take my word on it. You can check on their website or call NC board of pharmacy.
