Hi Everyone,

Becoming a technician is very simple.

Go online to ptcb.org and apply for the tech exam.

pass this, easy for pharmacists, then you are certified.

Next apply to the state board to become a board licensed technicain.Then , go job hunting.

Some states may not require licensure

Becoming a certified Tech is pointless if you need visa sponsorship to work in the US because no one will hire you. H1 visas are only available to people with at least a Bachelor degree working in a position that requires that degree. While pharmacy technicians need just a high school diploma.

In Industrial Pharmacy, pharmacist can rise from the position of a supervisor to that of a production manager, product manager and works manager etc.Industrial pharmacists work alongside scientists in the pharmaceutical industry who specialise in other areas to discover new ways of combating disease and improving manufacturing and production techniques.

Hello every one
For B.S. in Pharmaceutical Science have limited options .
first finish MS. in pharmaceutical science which is 30 units in Creighton University. then you will get better opprtuinty in Indus. Pharmacy. or Govt. agencies or Teaching.
secondaly : Try to apply for Pharm D. : It is never too late. and westing time for looking other options. Pharm D. Has more opportuinities and good pay scale.
Third : For BS in pharmaceutical science : There are oppurtinities such as Pharmaceutical sales rep. or Pharmacy tech.
But my suggestion is If you are not too old do the Pharm D.

Hi I have done 4 year Pharmacy from Karachi,Pakistan from a registerd univeristy and i m licensed pharmacist here.....Currntly i am doing Job in GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceutical company in Production as a Production Pharmacist.....my question is that in future i m going to go In USA and will be premenant residential of there....Can i get the JOb in Production in any company there with my current cridentials and witout getting license there or i will have to clear FPGEE and NAPLEX....I want to Do job In industry in production......Please Reply me !!!

There is another option. You can join pharmacy school here and i believe you can do the course satisfactorily.

I will come after getting married there....and i will have to support my family so in order for that i will have to earn and for that job is nessecary and for pharmacist job in pharmaceis and hospital license is nessecary.....so for me job is nessecary so can i do job in pharmaceutical industry without licesece and with my current experience?
