Hi Lighthouse,
How is the case going? I have read about your sad story. I can image how hard you work to pass the two exams. Some customer representatives are just dumb@$$es out of highschool. They don't have brain nor heart. Do you have ECE evaluation letter? If yes, what was the degree they evaluated for you? Is it BS in Pharmacy or BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences or anything else? Good luck to you. Nanospheres Quote:

Hi ninah,
What's the average salary of retail/community pharmacists in UK?(especially England) I've heard it's less than US but it seems like there's quite a variation. Does the income increase in rural areas like in North America? What company did you work for? |

Hi guys
I graduated before 2002.And according to my pharmacist friends who are working right now ,the average salary is about $60 per hour. This is universal across the country, however cost of living is much cheaper up north than London area. |

Hi lighthouse and ninah,
How is it going, Lighthouse? I hope everything is going okey. I still don't understand. It looks like lighthouse graduated before 2003, but why do they have a problem with lighthouse's 4-year degree?? |

Hi ikmak,
If you pass out before January 2003, you are eligible to take FPGEE .In order to get FPGEE certificate you have to pass TOEFL IBT / TSE(better you take TSE soon before it's phase-out, IBT is bit harder) .Then after internship you should take NAPLEX & MPJE in order to get licensed as pharmacist. For more info, please visit, NABP <> National Association of Boards of Pharmacy. All the best. |

Hi, Lighthouse,
Have you fixed your problem? I feel so sorry to hear about that. Hope you can make it. Now I have a curriculum dismatch problem. FPGEC think the curriculum I completed is not similar with the curriculums which can prepare the student practice pharmacy. I just read your letter and you mentioned that your alumni have similar problem, how do they fix that problem? I wrote to FPGEC and ask them what are their requirement courses but they did not answer my question and just said my circulums is not similar. I do not know how I can convince them? Is there some possiblity at your convinience to ask your alumni how they did to get the approval? That will help me a lot and I really appreciate it. Take care Syndey |
