Question on reporting intern hours to AZ board

I am working as an intern at AZ. I'm reporting my first quarter intern hours. My supervising pharmacist just applied for preceptor license. Can someone help me with the information whether board accepts my intern hours I earned before my pharmacist got preceptor license. I heard that some states accept intern hours only during pharmacist holds preceptor license.

    Thanks,

if your pharmacist has already applied and has been approved , then you should not have any problem. I interned in another state and got my hours transferred to AZ. I'm waiting for my ATT to write NAPLEX and MPJE.
What company are you working with?

Thank you rxach for response. I'm working with Albertsons. My pharmacist hasn't got preceptor license approval yet. She applied 3 days ago and waiting for approval. She has been supervising me since October. I am also preparing for NAPLEX . Please let me know, if you are interested in combined study.

I've never heard about preceptor licence. Does it say somewhere that the licenced pharmacist has to have such licence. I just know that pharmacist has to be regestered, I mean , licenced in this state, where you do your internship, for at least 2 years.
Let me know maybe it has been changed.

Yes! They need to have preceptor license regardless of pharmacist license. I am not 100% sure every state requires it. To my knowledge if you start working as an intern, make sure with the state board about preceptor requirements in that state.
