Help needed for my Georgia Intern License application
The good news is that I have received my FPGEC certificate a week ago, and now I can apply for the intern license in the state of Georgia. However, while I was filling out that application, I noticed that on the last page a signature from a preceptor or a licensed pharmacist under whom my intern hours will be supervised is required. Now here is the question, I have contacted several potential employers, for example CVS and Walgreen, they all require the intern license for the intern jobs. The dilemma is that if I do not get the license because of lack of the signature, nobody will offer me a job; on the other hand, if they can not offer me a job, I will not be able to get in touch with a licensed pharmacist, who then will not sign my intern license application because he/she has nothing to do with me.
Obviously there is something wrong with my understanding about that signature. I have contacted the state board several times, but it seems to me that different reps answering my calls have some different ideas, in other words, their answers are not unanimous which make me very confused. I need somebody in this forum who happen to live in Georgia and who have gone through that procedure or know something about it shed some light on that so that I can clear my confusion. Thanks. |
