H-1 Sponsor outside the US

Hi everyone

I am a foreign pharmacist currently residing in India. I have my FPGEC certificate and Walgreens and Rite Aid had mailed me about thier intern positions. I have to submitt the documents.

Is there any one who was living in I heard that they won't sponsor H1B for those who are outside US.(I mean only for those who are in US either on H4 or Student visa)

Can you explain what u mean when u say they mailed u about intern positions? Was that a job offer or what? And where did you hear that they don't sponser from outside usa? I'm in your case but still waiting my certificate to start looking for jobs, but if this is true then why did we go through all these troubles in the first place when they wont sponsor us in the end.

When I contacted walgreens and rite aid through e mail, they mailed me the vacancies in some states for doing internship.
It was not a job offer until i submitt my documents and I am going to do that within next week.
Regarding sponsorship, it was just a rumour I heard from here and there and I am not sure about that. I just want to confirm whether it is true or not.
