UK qualified pharmacist wanting to work in Canada
Hi,
I was just wondering if someone could shed some light on my query... I am about to start my pre-reg exam under supervision of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (RPSGB). There are several canadian nationals on my course here at the London School of Pharmacy who will head back to their native Canada upon completion of the course (MPharm) to undertake their pre-reg training and exams. I guess my question is as follows... Is this normal? Surely they would need to undertake a university conversion course before landing into a canadian pre-reg training contract? Or is merely the fact that they are not qualified in any country benefiting them? hence they can qualify first time under canadian law, and practice immediately after this? I would really appreciate if someone could answer this question/s for me, as it would clear up a lot of uncertainty here.... have asked some staff at my school but all seem to be vague... ![]() Regards AT ![]() |
