Extention of Michigan intern license after the second year

Dear All,

I receive my Michigan intern license in 06, I was expired in June 07. I have extended the second year which will be expire in June 08. I just receive an offer as an intern pharmacy but it will not start until May 08. As stated in the instruction "An educational limited license issued to a foreign Pharmacy graduate is valid for not more than two years from the date of issue, unless extended by the board upon written request by the intern"; my question are:

1. Have anyone done that?
2. Do they need any kind of documents rather than a letter for extension?

Hi Mong,

I have done that. You have to fill in the initial application and send it with the fee.($40). Also a letter explaining why you could not complete the internship hours in that time period and how you are planning to finish the internship. I hope this helps.

How long does it takes? I believe i can also take NAPLEX exam before finishing intern hours , right?

Hi I just got my toefl ibt required score. I passed FPGEE last June. I'll ask ETS to repor my score to NABP/FPGEC. Is that all I need to do get the FPGEC certificate? What do I have to do to get the Michigan internship licene that you are talking about? I live in Michigan..
Also I thought the FPGEC certificate doesn't have expiration but the state intern license do expire?? I was thinking about not doing the internship right away since I have other job but I better do it right away since the state internship will expire?

Will they(Michigan Board) accept Naplex score from other state before our internship?If yes,how long will they keep that score?I cannot start internship this year.Any input would be really appreciated.
