Hello,
I already have FPGEE, FPGEC and the FL intern license. Please, if anybody knows of a pharmacy internship in the Miami, FL area, let me know. ![]() I have already contacted the big chains (Walgreens, Walmart, CVS) and am waiting on a response... Recently I got a response from Walgreens and they told me that they are not looking for Florida interns :-( ![]() Thanks for any help or input, mimi Last edited by knok : 04-28-2008 at 07:37 PM. |

Hi Mimi,
I am looking for information about FPGEE. Was it very hard? What materials did you use for the preparation and how long did you study? Thanks a lot! Natalia Last edited by knok : 04-28-2008 at 07:37 PM. |

I have a friend in Miami whose manager asked him if he can speak Spanish, as over 70% of Miami inhabitants speak Spanish and a good percentage of people there don't speak English at all.
What about other areas (Orlando, Jacksonville, etc)? |

Hi Mission,
Thanks for reply. Where in Florida do you stay? Also how do you look for a position? Let's share our experiences and try to help each other .I'm still in NYC but eager to move somewhere else (Florida is #1 on my list). I applied to Wall-mart, Walgreens, CVS, and Target, but yet no reply I got .Hopefully in a week I'll post this icon Good luck to you and to all of you, guys, who's still looking for internship!!! |

FL expects one of the highest intern 2080 hrs. (It used to be only 500 hrs)That's the reason, no pharmacies wants to have any foreign grads as interns. They can have US grads, why pay for 1 year or more for training us?
I have had a big no from every chain, local or hospital pharmacy. I have no choice of relocating since my family is located in FL; but viadream, think twice before taking any decision! |
