Whether INS Can Issue Two HIB Approval for a Same Person.

Hi guys
Is that possible that INS can approve two HIB for a same person? I mean that if two companies apply HIB Sponsorship for a same person, then what happened ? Could you guys shed some light on this issue.

Deepak !
Yes, it is possible to get two H1B visas for the same person. For this he/she should have two employers to file H1 B for their companies.Good luck.

Hi Deepak,
In my understanding one can go for more than one co.s for visa sponsoring. But there is one problem especially in california state, I do not know about any other state. In CA most of the companies are asking for contract for three to four years and their contract starts as soon as one gets his visa approval. Now in that scenario if a person get his visa sponsored through two companies and if he gets lucky to get visa approval through both the companies, he has to join one company and he will have to pay other company the fine for breaching the contract. So if you are not signing any contract i think you can go through more than one company.
This is my understanding, I may be wrong.
