I have also tried to e-mail Walgreens and they answered they don't have any intern positions in LA county. Got the same response from nor CVS , RiteAid, Wallmart, and walgreens. All said there are no opennings for pharmacy interns.
Raief - I don't have your e-mail for getting further details, however I would trully appreciate any tips before going tomorrow to the ONLY interview I've succeeded in getting. WHAT QUESTIONS SHOULD I EXPECT ? Thank You ! Last edited by knok : 03-31-2008 at 05:51 PM. |

hi Ninah,
try northern CA it is nice and has allot of opportunities for intern and pharmacists as well and the payment is much much better, let me know if I can help you, [No personal email on the web please] Dear orchid69 it is too hard to get an opportunity in LA unless you are registered pharmacist,as intern I do advice you to look in Northeren CA,and the payment is almost double in the north area, *** Last edited by knok : 04-01-2008 at 06:58 PM. |

Hi everyone,
Thank you all for sharing your experience here! I am actually looking for an intern opportunity in CA as well. However, there is no luck for me so far. I have tried all the chain stores I know of, but not every one of them emailed me back: Wal-Mart responded that currently they don’t have positions available for international pharmacy interns in the Southern California area, while Walgreens asked me to send in a snail mail letter. As for all the others, like CVS or Rite Aid, I never heard anything from their recruiters after emailing them. I started to feel discouraged. I was wondering if my experience of getting no response back is typical. Have any of you had or heard similar stories? If there is any, could you please share your thoughts? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

Yeah I have already tried them and didn't find them to be useful for this fiscal year they told me to contact them early them early October. Please feel free to contact me if you have any more information I would be grateful
