Hi! I just took toefl last May 30 but I would want to share the experience of my friend currently residing in LA. She got her certificate last May this year and she applied and waited for result at least for 3 weeks to all the companies. It was Walgreens which is also her first choice who responded first, she took the job which is located in Lancaster since they told her that LA is saturated with pharmacist already. Anyways she was given a good package as well. BTW, she is a permanent resident here.

Hi everyone,
I'm in Southern California. Have cleared TOEFLibt already last yr., have FPGEE certificate since Feb.'08. Am hopelessly trying all banners ever since, no luck yet. Now, I'm really tired of calling, e-mailing and leaving fancy messages. God knows what's next. But I'm positive 'He' has something for me. Hope that my effort and destiny clicks someday at the same time. I have a deficiency letter from the Board due to lack of SSN. Does anyone know if any other state allows to give NAPLEX without intern hrs. and SSN? Any response will be appreciated. To all those sailing in the same boat like me - have patience, keep trying and do share your success stories. Thanks. |

I have heard, North Carolina you can but I am not sure the in's and out. My argument is that if you do your naplex are you really guranted a job the answer is no . Thats why my personal opnion is to get a company to sponser you first anc technically they should pay for your NAPLEX exam all your books etc

I haven't found internship since i started looking around august, though the only companies I inquired with are Vons, Target and Walmart. I am still waiting for my CA intern license since it is taking too long because FBI rejected my initial finger print scan. Hopefully there will be some availability in San Bernardino area. ![]() |
