Hi guys,

I passed my toefl iBT but I do not have certificate and I am expecting it will arrive sometime in the end of April or first week of may because today only I got my rescoring result.

So, is there any chance to get H1-B sponsorhip if I will tell employers about my situation.

Did your score increase from 22 to 26?

Yes, it is possible. I saw somewhere that students received 26-27 after rescoring a score of 22.

However, it may be decreased as well. Some students received a score of 18 after rescoring a score of 22.

It is a lie from ETS that there are 3-4 raters grading the test. How come can a score be changed after being rated by 3-4 raters? With a rescoring, I am not sure that there are 1-2 new raters to rate your score. It is called, specialists.... ( I cannot see anything more than business of money making scheme by making another $60.)


We have no choice. Go for it and pay another $60. If your score has been changed, please keep calling until you get a refund. I made a phone call 2-3 times and was put on hold for 15 minutes.

I hope we all as pharmacists can be seen as a competent group of foreign professionals who can commmunicate by using other organizations to judge our performance. We need to get rid of the monopoly.

I rescore my Speaking section on February 1st, it was 22 and now I got 23!!! Well at least I got my money back :-).
