Knok,
I am doubted if you have already gathered a petition about this issue! or not, If not then; Why don't we make a Petition and process it through its legal duct? We can make a petition about the discremination between different medical groups who are licensed in the US and working here in the same community & environment. Why the other medical groups like; Physicians, Dentists, Nurses, ... can get thier licenses by iBT Speaking score of 24(or even lower) or other alternative English Test while pharmacists have to take only TOEFL iBT and it is only acceptable when the score of Speaking section is 26? |

I am sorry that I can't disclose that information at this time.
![]() Doctors have their own speaking test. Consultation with real patients. The medical board suggests candidates to earn 45 on TSE( For measuring of general English speaking, not for the board purpose. I guess because the board knows that content does matter in patient consultation. 45 on the TSE is at 55 percentile which is a lot different than 50 on TSE which is at 85 percentile.) before taking this consultation test. Nurses are allow IELTS. Dentists, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists have the same problem as us. However, some physical therapists were waived from this speaking test.

How do you know that they didn't or don't do anything? They might try but they couldn't or can't because of some political phenomenon or bureacratic system of some institutions.
Can they fix alone? If they can, how much can they fix? Were they sending rhetorical questions? Please be advised that people in the NABP office are not suffering from this problem directly. They have lunch breaks. They don't have to go to take a lousy Internet based TOEFL iBT. The pharmacists who stand in the stores, can't go to bathroom, are yelling by patients because of long lines in drugstores, and don't have time to eat lunch are affected. Check the first article of that thread. Is pharmacy profession a trade?

Agree.
Probably, those article show the crisis. Did those article send across those authorities? Did they read them? If not, how can those authorities see them? ![]() Boardcasting again and again? What is the best channel of distributions for spreading news? Legislators?

It is more than that.
The main point is about medical errors and lawsuits related to increases of workload. Imagine that if the workload is too high and medical errors become common, patients may not trust pharmacists anymore. At that point, it is not about which nationalities that the pharmacists are. "You are pharmacists who dispense them medications." ![]()
