According to the post (http://www.urch.com/forums/fpgee/717...-reported.html (Article on NABP website: June FPGEE Administration Numbers Reported)), in 2006, the number of FPGEE takers was (1,865+1,618) =3,483
Only 873 test takers received licenses in 2006. We don't know the number of FPGEE takers in 2005 and the number of those who received licenses in 2007. I heard that 68% of test takers passed the FPGEE. If we assume that the proportion was not much different. Assume that approximately 2,368 FPGEE takers(3,483x 68%) passed FPGEE in 2006. 2,368- 873 = 1,495 1,495 were not licensed or got stuck in the system after passing FPGEE. The number of those who did not receive licenses after passing FPGEE = 1,495 By percent : 1,495x100/3,483 = 42% [b]Success rate[b/]: The number of those who received licenses/ number of total candidates 873x100/3,483 = 25% In 2006, there was no problem with filing H-1B. Also, many candidates might be licensed in Michigan and Florida where 26 on TOEFL iBT-Speaking or 50 on TSE was not required. If we calculate by the number of those who received the licenses/ the number of those who passed FPGEE, here it is: = 1,495x100/2,368 =63% Over two-thirds of candidates could not receive license after passing FPGEE. These are only estimated numbers. The percentages, I believe, were higher than we see because many candidates registered in MI and FL in 2006. The number of those who could not pass TOEFL iBT exceed 2/3 of total candidates who passed FPGEE.
