Hello APhA,
I am sorry that many did not receive their receipt notices yet, hope all of them will soon. I just wanted to comment on the acknowledgment of Canada for the FPGEE certificate. It is NOTHING......in Canada they deny the whole world and accept nothing but "Canadian" exams and certificates. The exams here are 10 folds more difficult than in USA and the English test requirements are even more difficult. They have 3 exams, the first called the Evaluating exam, the second the Qualifying and the third is the OSCE or the Objective Structured Clinical Examination in addition to the language test. I advise any one to exclude Canada from his/her plans sine even the tax deductions her are up to 40% if your income passes 6 digits....and life is at least 10% more expensive than US, since they have tax on purchases of at least 13%. It is true that there are many services in return, but still, you CANNOT SAVE as good as in other place, but you can live happily here and safely in Canada, may be this is the good blessing people have there. I though some might need to know... Regards, Lalangi. |

I totally agree with you.Canadian exams are much tougher than US exams and more over it is very difficult to clear second and third exams in Canada.
I stayed in Canada for more than 2 years and seen none of my friends couldn't able to get through canadian exams after first level. Most of them got Canadian citiizenship after 3years of greencard(permanent residence) and came to Usa on T1 visa and doing their internship.T1 visa is for 3 years now who can work legally if they won't get H1b..but it is only for those who have canadian or Mexican passport. The tax rate is also very high compared to Usa,but we can always keep it as a backup plan. Thanks, Suma2005 |

Hello,
When I asked my consultant how he was able to know that my recipet number is this for eg XXXXXXX then he send me the I-797C form. When I got and see the status on the url " https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/caseStatusSearchDisplay.do;jsessionid=acbvn6gpTrgZ h-qTk71lr " it is showing " PEnding for approvals". I want to Know that wether i got selected in Lottery if yes then why it is showing "Pending for Approval" Thanks and Regards. - Last edited by knok : 05-30-2008 at 07:14 PM. |

Congratulations Kevin!
I guess that means your application has been picked (which is my current status) and HAS NOW BEEN APPROVED (which is what I hope to be in the next coming weeks). Now you just have to wait for them to send you the documents which will be (snail) mailed to you. These documents which you will then bring to your US Embassy for stamping of visa if you are outside the US. Welcome to your new life! ![]() |
