H1B visa applicants for fiscal year 2009

Hi,

Please let me know the whole H1B Process.
All of my frns are saying that they have received the receipt number.
Do we receive the receipt number as an acknowledgement for our application filing or after selecting in the lottery process?
Please reply ASAP.

On May 30, i got approve after my name picked in lottery. I applied under regular process and non master, but i got H-1B approve very early, i am very surprised.
Receipt number: May 13.
Approved: May 30.

Congratulations, Kevin! May I ask what your batch number is to give me a better idea of how much longer I need to wait. My receipt number was dated May 14th, I got the email May 18th. My batch number is 158.

For those who are uniformed.. the group or batch number is the set of numbers after "08" in the case number. Eg. EAC-08-145-XXXXX - here 145 is the group/batch numbers. Kindly post your batch numbers and approval status if there has been any approval.

Just curious to know if you were sponsored by Rite Aid...? My reciept date is May 13th. What is your batch number?
Let us know what you're going to do next. Did you get the document set from the company? Are you going for a visa stamp next?

Right now my company received Approval notice mail, They gave me copy of it.
it is valid from 10/01/08 to 09/01/2011.
Receipt number: EAC-08-151-XXXXX
Receipt Date: May 5 (On The Approval notice)
Notice Date: May 30 (On The Approval notice)
Got Approval Notice: June 5
So my process has been done.

I have not received any acceptance or denial from the uscis till now. what would that mean? Have the majority received a final word from the USCIS.

My sponsor is CVS, somebody more !!!
