Can we know if you applied on General or Master quota, Premium or Normal Processing , Did you get receipt number or is your petition approved and when did you get the receipt no. if your petition is approved?? This information is very much important for all of us....

I received notification last Thurs that I won the lottery for the H1 visa... then heard on the Friday I got approved.. I applied under the general quota and used the premium processing...!! Good luck to you all...

Hi All,

I just got mine H1B acceptance 2 days ago. I applied with the Master quota using Premium processing. However, I still got a little problem that is those checks my company made to the USCIS bounced by mistake. Me and my Company(A small software company) found that out the same day but the USCIS is so slow that they don't know yet. We try to go to a local USCIS office but they say we can't just bring them new checks/money orders. We have to wait until they send us an official notice and then follow the instruction to resent the checks/money order. Our attorney told us it is very unlikely that USCIS will reject my already accepted H1B visa if we follow the instruction and make things right.

The whole thing is quite a drag. But I guess I am 99.9% there

Hi all, congratulations to those who got accepted!

For my case, I applied under general quota and regular process.
My accounting department just informed me that the check that was mailed to USCIS had been deposited.
Is this considered that I got accepted? Or I still need to wait for the formal notification?

Please advise!

Guess that means you're accepted since, according to USCIS press release, they will return the payment of all those not selected in the lottery. Since yours was taken/accepted, then.... congratulations!!!!

I applied on General quota and Normal Processing . The Laywer told me that the I was picked up by the USCIS but still need wait for approval...They told me that it seems no problem to get final approval soon.

By the way, I am applying for business and trading industry...not IT...
