Hello RadhikaIf your case was selected in lottery, kim should have sent you receipt notice which will have your case number. Using this case number you can find the status of your H1-B petition in USCIS website. Website is USCIS Home Page, where you can enter your case number to find out the status of your H1-B petition

Hello Radhika,

I, too, have received an email from Kim Miller asking for the confirmation of my address and tel no on July 4 but, unlike you, I did not inquire on my case status. I then assumed that my case is already approved. However, after checking my case status online, my case is still pending. That's why, I can't tell for sure if they have already received my approval notice or not.

Notice Date: April 28
Receipt number: WAC08148-XXXXX
Approval : Pending (online status)

Hi PharmDwannabe,
Thanks for your reply. Kim has never mentioned whether my application was picked from lottery. And she didn't even provide my Receipt No. All these days i was assuming my application wasn't picked in lottery. Her email has come as a surprise to me, i am still not able to believe whether my application is picked up.Her email only asked for the mailing address so she can send H1B approval notice.I am wondering what do i assume from that?(did my application been picked in lottery?)

I am on EAC batch 149 and i was sponsered by Rite Aid for an internship and this morning i checked my status and it said Request for Evidence status. I have also mailed Kim asking what additional documents are required but no reply yet!! Did any one who applied thru Rite Aid face this problem? Please help!!

Hi redha_kotha, do you know the details of your RFE? I haven't heard of a similar case involving pharmacists but I am interested in knowing your case.

No, I do not know what is in the RFE yet but when I emailed Kim about my status on the website. I got a reply saying that she will let me know once they receive the RFE from USCIS (by post). I will let you know once I receive the RFE. I am just hoping it is not something major!

I got my approval a month ago and Rite Aid sent the paperwork today. The petition was approved only for one year. Is this the same for everyone?

Is there any Canadian citizen out here who is getting their H1B at the land border? I'm pretty sure the process will be easier than the TN visa but any hints will be appreciated.

Hello all,

Congratulations to each and every one who had his approval notice and hard luck for those who missed it this year. Luckily today, I have just received my approval notice via e-mail. I am to work in Ohio Cleveland with Rite Aid. If there are any people who are close by or of the same situation please do get in touch so that we can discuss what to do next. I guess some of us need to book an appointment for the intereveiw.

Hey lalangi,
Congratulations! You just have to wait until you receive the actual approval document with other required documents from Rite Aid before you can make an appointment to get your H1B visa stamped.

Booked for your appointment at the U.S. embassy yet? You should do so as soon as you can since you have already gotten the actual approval document from Rite Aid. Good luck at your interview!
