Hi everyone, I've received the-great news that I was selected in the H1B random selection from Kim last May 6. The notice was also attached in the email and was dated April 28. It truly is an answered prayer! Let God be praised! So, to those who are still waiting, hang on there.
And, oh, I'll also be assigned in CA (northern). God bless ![]() |

I'm a newbie here...maybe you guys can help me out on a couple of questions.
1. Did you guys attended a personal interview or was it held over the phone? 2. Can you give a me an idea how much rite-aid pays for interns in CA? ...and congratulations to all who got H1b--a dream come true! |

Hey all,
I applied with rite aid regular quota in california, and still waiting for any respose.Kim told me that they have not received any returned petitions yet, thus, I still have a chance. This waiting is killing .Any one has any news on that issue?when will we know?I know few applicants who received receipt notes from kim, however, they are very few!on what basis do they send the receipt notes?do the area play a role?do they(USCIS) send the returned petitions at last? |

Hi pharmaking,
I don't think all hope is lost. Just be patient. While those who got their receipts so far will be assigned in Cali, I read somewhere in the USCIS website that California Service Center estimates it will be able to inform everyone who filed under them by June 15, 2008. For the Vermont Service Center (under which I was applied for, I assume) estimated date of informing everyone is June 2, 2008. So hang in there. It just takes time for the USCIS to inform everyone. Remember, there were 163,000 applications this year. And that's just for H1B applications. And there are a LOT of applications for other types of visas as well. Lets all continue to pray, hang on, and in the meantime, enjoy what time we have in our respective countries or our families in the US. ![]() |
