My lawyer also told me that we needed to have masters degree related to employment. I say this because I had masters totally unrelated to pharmacy. A few years back, a pharmacist who has a master's degree in Chemistry applied for Pharmacy Intern and got H-1B by filing under the master quota. Suma's comment makes sense.
I think that your lawyer knows well about this regulation. Let us know.  Good luck.

I don't think we need any more disussion in this matter.When Biology to chemistry and medical graduate to physiotherapist or dentist can get approval in IT field than why not Biology or chemistry or business graduate in Pharmacy? These subjects have more stronger tie up with Pharmacy.You should have Master degree from USA that's it.Most of the time all majors are interrelated.
