hello rxach,
I received an approval notice for my case under premium processing with Albertsons(Southern California) also. Is it really safe to say congratulation to both of us? By the way, are you from Pinas? |

I have a unique situation, My cheque for 1000 dollars for premium processing was deposited on 17 april 2008 according to my Bank. On the back of the cheque was a EAC number or say receipt number. When I put the number on the USCIS website . This is what it said
Application Type: I129, PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER Current Status: Approval notice sent. On April 23, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129 PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service. But when I called my lawyer, My lawyer said that they never received any receipt notice nor approval notice. I can understand them not receiving my approval notice...but atleast they should have received my receipt number ! which was sent on the 17 april . What do you guys think ? Has anyone been in the similar situation? Do you think the number written on back of the cheque was indeed the receipt number? - Last edited by knok : 04-24-2008 at 08:14 PM. I think you will fine.
Check this. Premium Processing Cap-subject petitions requesting premium processing that are received on the “final receipt date,” or during the initial five business day period mentioned above, cannot be processed until after the random selection has been completed. The premium processing 15-day adjudication period (processing deadline) will not begin until such time as USCIS has completed the random selection process. The number of master’s exemption cases received cannot be determined until all the petitions have been sorted and counted. The same holds true for the master’s exemption premium processing cases. In accordance with established guidelines, USCIS will refund premium processing fees for any filings for which it cannot meet processing deadlines. Even if USCIS issues a refund of the premium processing fee, it will continue to provide premium processing for these filings until completion. |
