Hello this is srikanth, i got H1-B receipt notice from uscis couple of days back. I have been offered intern position with riteaid in klamath falls, Oregon. If anybody else offered the position in similar location, please contct me at srikanth.ponnada@gmail.com

hi, I dont understand when you say" receipt from USCIS" you receive receipt from USCIS or kim miller? please explain

Hello Junta 123

Kim Miller is a legal advisor for riteaid company. All she does is file all H1-B applications with USCIS (Unites States Citizenship and Immigration Services) on behalf of people whoever are sponsored by riteaid company. Once USCIS selects applications using random selection process, they will issue the receipt number for those cases that are selected. Then USCIS will forward the recipt notices with the receipt number for each case selected to the kim Miller. Then Kim Miller will e-mail those people whose cases have got receipt number. Kim Miller has no rights to issue any receipt number. It is the USCIS that has power to issue that receipt number, which is nothing but tracking number. Using this number you can check the progress on your case using USCIS website, which is USCIS Home Page I hope i am clear.

Here I see few candidates from CA & OR (west)who got the receipt from the USCIS . Is there anyone from east who got the receipt?????
Also would like to know if we can still have our hopes alive?????

PLEASE could anyone who is sponsored by rite aid to get h1b visa in OHIO STATE mention his status...bcoz I DIDN'T hear that any one got selected in that state......we have been hearing all those who were selected from CA AND OREGON...ONLY.We have been waiting for a loooooong time.

Hello everybody,
Finally my wait is over and all the prayers have paid off. I got an e-mail from Kim miller today that I have been selected in the Random selection process.I have been assigned New Hampshire area.All I can say to all those waiting is that DONT LOOSE HOPE, there is time till 2nd June, so just hang on there. In fact I had started to loose hope and was beginning to work on my back-up plans. God is great. There is someone whoz watching all of us.So just have faith. This is my first year of filing.I read this line from the book "The alchemist" that if you deeply desire a certain thing , the entire universe conspires for you and ensures that you get it. I now believe its so true. All the best and keep the faith.
