Hi Osman,
Reason I think no one among the companies is responding to you now because their recruiters are all quite busy processing H1B applications for FY2008 (which starts Oct 2007). That is what almost everyone active in this thread at the moment is fussing about. Everyone's either just received their results or is still anxiously waiting. For FY2007, working visa petitions had to be filed by sponsoring companies just this April 1st. And its still quite a bit of a process after that. Check USCIS Home Page for details on the process and schedules. Kind regards, |

Kaiser Permanente's Diversity Statement states "At Kaiser Permanente, we value the rich diversity of our organization and aspire always to demonstrate respect for the uniqueness of each individual. We encourage each contribution to the establishment of an open, inclusive environment that supports and empowers our employees." What you have heard in SoCal is contrary to what is claimed on Kaiser's diversity statement. You may wish to contact the chairman of the Kaiser Permanente National Diversity Council and ask for explanation why their policy statement is not practical... His details are available on the link I'm going to provide you. https://newsmedia.kaiserpermanente.o...scopeland.html You may also seek assistance of Kaiser's Senior vice president, Brand Strategy, Communications and Public Relations. Click here for more details https://newsmedia.kaiserpermanente.o...gelofgren.html As I have stated before, if you really want to overcome obstacles you are facing as overseas trained pharmacists, you need to strengthen IPharm-US and act as a group, not individually. If we had a strong organization, our leaders would have easily consulted the Kaiser's leadership and come up with a logical or sensible solution. It is much easier to work on issues of this nature at the association level. The good thing about Kaiser Permanente is it is a non-profit organization... This implies that Kaiser is not affected by the H1-B Cap... If we succeed on this, we will open the door for many overseas pharmacists... Good point huh? Act now, join IPharm-US and make your voice heard. Subscription is free at the moment. It won't be forever free for sure. T Last edited by Trav : 05-07-2008 at 02:06 AM. |
