Waiting for my fpgec and work permit, when is the best time to apply for internship?
This is my first time to post here. I passed my FPGEE last Dec '07, took the TOEFL in feb.So now I am just waiting for the FPGEC. I don't need sponsorship since I am getting married to an american next month. I just wanna ask when is the best time to start applying for internship, now while nothing yet is being processed (with regards to my work permit and green card) or later on when at last i have filed for change of status.Currently I am here on a tourist visa. I am afraid that retail pharmacies would ask for my eligibility to work if i apply now. Hope someone can enlighten me with this. |

It all depends on where you want to apply- ex walgreens requires all documents sent to the international dept to be considered for an interview if there is need. In my view any other comp would call you for an interview and ask for your paper work then so once again I would rather wait!!!
Hope this helps Bmp |
