Internship in Michigan

I am looking for Internship in Michigan and have tried contacting retail pahrmacies (Walmart, walgreens, CVS riteaid etc) majority of the response has been "we do not have any positions right now for interns"

I have michigan intern license and have cleared FPGEE and TOEFL iBt, I have EAD from my husband's 485 filing
My question is am I doing something wrong, or is this response very common when you start looking and I should just keep mailing and calling the pharmacies

Please experts guide me how to go about securing an internship in michigan

Hey garimak,
Dont lose hope,it will eventually come to you,but I still think its more practicable if you do a walk-in to pharmacies and ask for the PDM numbers,I am sure of this for walmart pharmacy;call the pdm and see what happens after that. Good luck

Depending on where you live in Michigan, you can also look for intern positions in the nearby states (IN, OH etc) which may be within short driving distance from your home.

It is really hard to land an internship position here in Michigan. Most of the retail pharmacies here require the applicant to have an "American" experience in the field of pharmacy.

Yes, it's tough these days to get internship in MI. I tried there for 3 months and finally relocated to another place.

I had done my internship at Mi last year. I was in the same problem till I decide to work as volunteer at private retail for the whole period, so this is the only way out
