Is the score of IBT Speaking section important for B-School PhD Application?
Is the score of IBT Speaking section important for B-School PhD Application?
It's said that the B-school has higher language requirement for PHD Students. I got only 100 in iBT Toefl test and, unfortunately, only 19 in the speaking section. I plan to apply PhD program in Finance this fall. Will this score hurt me very seriously? I have check some B-schools' websites, except to few programs, such as Chicago-GSB, most programs only set 100 minimum requirement and no special requirement for the speaking section. My GMAT score is ok, 730. I look forward to you guys' opinions. Thanks very much in advance. |
