Well, I'm just a fellow applicant, and know nothing about Ops as it's not my field, but your profile looks good to me. I would say to consider applying to a couple top schools, because you never know where you can get in. All the advice I've gotten says to try a couple, because you can often get into a better school than you think you can.

Thanks for your positive view on my profile
The problem is that I am not a US citizen, therefore most of the deadlines for top universities are passed for international students or are going to pass soon and I want to apply for fall 2009. Otherwise I would apply for at least 2 top universities.
These are some good universities that I found and they have a deadline of February 1st. So that I can handle the application process.

I'd second what Lenny said ... you need to include some higher ranked universities.

Unless you have a compelling reason such as visa, I'd say that waiting a year to get into a top school isn't such a bad idea. You are fairly young at 24.

I am a foreigner too and about 10 years ago came to a top-50 program but transferred to a top-5 program in Computer Science. The difference in faculty, facilities, financial aid, and placement was tremendous.
