HEC Interview coming up...

Hello everyone...

I have my PhD Marketing interview for HEC coming up. I want to know what are the competencies expected in such an interview...? I'm a working porfessional...and frankly a bit out of touch with the 'latest' happenings in research... I have a clear direction of where I would like to do my research and why HEC etc... but will I be grilled on Academic stuff a lot...?

Anyone who's faced an interview like this before...please advise...!

Hope it's not too late. I had my itw last february.
Do you have any ideas of which topic you want to research ?
Honestly, most of the questions I faced were concerning my previous research assistant experiences, but I think you can easily emphasize the skills you got from your job, and how these skills could be used for research.
Another things that can be useful is to know the research interests of the current professors. I knew a lot about the professors that interviewed me...
