Hi guys,

someone knows about an accounting program that is not an accountics Phd(econometrics, psychometrics, and advanced mathematics) -http://www.trinity.edu/rjensen/theory01.htm#DoctoralPrograms-

im trying to look a nice accounting program but what i see is that mainly these Phd are quite close to finance or economics...

The vast majority of Accounting PhD programs are going to be fairly quantitative, but not as much as finance or econ would be.

If you want a little less quant course work you would probably want to focus on behavioral research and a pysch minor instead of an econ minor.

I see your username is auditing. If you are interested in audit research I would give serious consideration to Texas and Illinois.
