Accounting Phd Programs
Hi guys,
someone knows about an accounting program that is not an accountics Phd(econometrics, psychometrics, and advanced mathematics) -http://www.trinity.edu/rjensen/theory01.htm#DoctoralPrograms- im trying to look a nice accounting program but what i see is that mainly these Phd are quite close to finance or economics... anyone knows a nice school to look at? |

The vast majority of Accounting PhD programs are going to be fairly quantitative, but not as much as finance or econ would be.
If you want a little less quant course work you would probably want to focus on behavioral research and a pysch minor instead of an econ minor. I see your username is auditing. If you are interested in audit research I would give serious consideration to Texas and Illinois. |
