GRE, since after looking over both I found the GRE Q to be more straightforward than the GMAT, so if no preference, take GRE.
In your case, since you are interested in finance, RM and macroeconomics as you have mentioned previously, the GRE would be better anyway. |

AdComs compare PERCENTILES for programs that accept both. I nailed an 800Q on the GRE which was something around 93rd percentile that year. To the AdCom, that was the equivalent to whatever the GMAT 93rd % score was.
In hindsight, I should have taken the GMAT. I'd much rather have my quant score compared to MBA students than grad students in engineering. Not that it mattered in my case, I only applied to one school. |
