Tips transferring from one Finance PhD program to another
I see a few posts about trading up to top five b-school... none of that here. My program is really solid, but I think I can find a better match. I am looking for:
(1) a faculty more involved in student research (I am a career switcher from engineering and been out of school for almost a decade working in general management) (2) a geography that supports my fiance returning to school Are these legit reasons? Any style pointers on making the switch? Do you think admissions at the receiving school can really offer confidentiality? For what it's worth I'm a 770 GMAT (49Q/48V), 3.9 BS, 4.0 MS, but both in engineering (from schools you know), so I lacked the econ and obtuse math, but I'm working on it. |
