GMAT SCORES FOR PhD IN ACCOUNTING

Hi,

What is minimum gmat score required to enter into PhD program in Accounting ?

It can be arranged like:

University >> GMAT >> Q, V, >> Deadline

Please post your scores and the universities where all applications are accepted. This will be of great help to other members.

Cheers----

Not trying to be rude or anything, but this is something you can easily research on your own. There are dozens of Universities that offer a PhD in accounting, and the minimum GMAT score ranges from around 550-680. You can usually find this information on the Schools' websites although the acceptance average is often higher than the minimum. Also the AAA survey that floats around has this documented for every school already, so if you have access to that it will help.

@ acup313,

Thanks for reply, but there are many universities which don't accept applications , though the score is below 600. This will help to know whether anybody below 600 got accepted in some universities. I check around websites of universities and found only the Average score, not the lowest and highest.

Thanks.

I would argue the average score is probably the more valuable score to focus on. While many schools say that there minimum is 650, for example, their average is 690. Thus a 650 student likely has other factors that made them competitive if they were admitted.

EE570 is on the way!
I think a general rule is to get 700+. Also keep in mind that the Q portion is more valuable than the V.

Accounting Ph.D. incoming classes at the top places are usually quite small, so 700's (if not high 700's) definitely.
