I reviewed with Schaum's Outline for Mathematical Economics. I had never taken calc or linear algebra before and working through the book starting a few months before I started the PhD program has seemed to help immensely. I also used Schaum's outlines for Linear Algebra and Advanced Calculus but not as much as the math for econ book.
I also used Chiang's textbook on mathematical econ. It was good, and easier than Simon & Blume (which is good to look at after you're comfortable with the other stuff). |

I used the Shaum outlines as well, they are inexpensive and pretty good review books.
Chiang is a good resource as well, like PhDCPA mentioned, it is a good resource to be used with Simon and Blume, which is the book we used in my math bootcamp. |
