One should definitely look at grad skool rulz posts at orgtheory.net
Although they are more sociology oriented, most of the people who write there are in biz-schools. for some weird reason I cannot post links. so go to orgtheory.net and then look at the right for the "grad skool rulz" link. |

Yeah unfortunately you have to have 30 posts before you can post links to the forum. I have the accounting PhD survey one if anyone wants it you can send me a PM. It provides information about all of the Accounting PhD Programs such as placement of past grads and what they look for in potential candidates.

Here's the link: Accounting PhD Program A-C I've also found BYU's PhD Prep wiki to be a useful resource for those considering accounting: http://www.byuaccounting.net/mediawi...itle=Main_Page A lot of it has nothing to do with their particular program and just provides useful information for all PhD candidates. |

DocNet Consortium of Business Doctoral Programs
This website is sort of a news source to announce events, chat sessions, and information fairs that are being held. Search Only for AACSB Accredited Business Schools Chalk one up to the AACB. I like some of the things you can do on this website. It does a good job of list |

The list of Phd programs at Marketing power website is quite exhaustive and considering the widely accepted view that there can be no ranking of programs, the list provides a good starting point to a phd aspirant to zero in on a suitable program.
I am posting the the route map for the link as I'm not not allowed to post links in the forum. Marketingpower.com ______ Community________Academic resource center________Career__________PHD____________Progr ams |

This is a good link for CV construction and formatting. It also has a link to a sample graduate student CV.
