I'm considering a handful of international business programs because my gmat/gpa/course prep are not sufficient for a finance phd. Although, I am applying to several finance phd programs this upcoming 2012-2013 application cycle. My question is, what are the type of job prospects are there for dba-international studies with a specialization in finance. I understand its not a finance phd. But is it sufficient to land a finance tenure track position at a teaching college?

Is it a research oriented DBA that is AACSB accredited?
I would otherwise avoid a DBA program if you want a TT position.

Did the re-take of the GMAT not go well for you?
