Teaching Experience Recommendation Letters for PhD in Finance

I am applying for PhD Finance applications this fall and have 3 referees lined up. They all talk about my research experience so I was wondering if it would make sense to replace one of these referees with one who can attest to my experience as a teaching experience? I already have such a referee lined up but just wanted to get a second opinion on whether it is a good idea or not.

No. Listing teaching experience on your CV is great, but that's about all you want to show from teaching. A third letter attesting to your research ability is more important.

Everything that Yas said is spot on. I'm going to be blunt, DO NOT REPLACE A RESEARCH LOR WITH A TEACHING ONE! Seriously, don't do it. Schools care only little about teaching when you start a program and surprisingly little about teaching when you are applying for jobs. Research, research, research.
Til now I always got by on my own
I never really cared until I met you...
