GPA: 7.9/10 Masters degree: MBA 2011 GPA - 70% Areas of interest: Development & Poverty alleviation Research Experience: In total three internship segments of 7 weeks each during MBA involving field data collection and analysis. Teaching Experience: Guided internship segments of more than 100 graduates. Co-evaluator for 35 graduate students for 1 semester field work. Work Experience: Total 7 year. Initial 3 years with World Bank project on Poverty alleviation through social enterprises and women empowerment. Followed by 3 years in CSR and Rehabilitation & Resettlement implementation programs and one year with Corporate Planning wing of largest coal producer of the world. Concentration Applying to: Strategy/Management Number of programs planned to apply to: 10-12 universities Dream Schools: MIT, Booth, Johnson Cornell, INSEAD, Kellogg Other Questions: Questions or concerns you have about your profile? Applying for 2020 program, I am strongly inclined towards programs that are passionate about research in sustainability of business in long term through environment and social responsible actions. Any additional specific questions you may have: Absence of strong research experience and publication can be a deterrent for my application ? If you want to do qualitative research/field work it’s really important you consider this in the schools you choose.
