First of all, Thanks to Erin for this forum!

I will be applying to PhD program in Org. Behavior. I just took the GMAT, got 670

. I will be retaking it, as I am aiming for top 30 programs, so I need 700+. (is 700 enough, or do I need to go higher, like 720-730?)

My brief profile:

I applied two years ago, but did not get in. I think it was because of my then-low GMAT score.
International, but will be applying as a permanent resident this year (I hope it will make a difference?)
BSc, MBA and MA from US school, grad GPA 3.8 (undergrad is 3.5)
Research experience, conference presentations, but no publications, except for a book review
Female
Research interests vary from micro to macro, so I will be writing different SOPs according to what programs have to offer (bad idea?)
Aiming for: low chance- Kellogg, UMich, Wharton; maybe- UCLA, Duke, Carnegie Mellon, Emory, USC, ASU, U of Washington

Anyway, anyone in the same boat, please come in and let's discuss strategies and support one another.

I am aiming for Fall of 2007. I've done my education from India. Need to collect my trancripts for the application. Anybody has a format of a transcript? Also do we need to produce a trancript of the SSC and HSC certificates? Thanks for reading-

i'll be applying to kellogg and stanford gsb. ive got 3 years RA at kellogg from undergrad at nu with top prof, taking gmat soon. am i at a disadvantage because they prefer gre? math econ undergrad 3.7

hi , im also the same boat .Im preferably intend to do Phd in Marketing . I m going to take ny Gmat and Tofel in sept . Now im busy with the preparation and at the same time university search .
