I'll be there, but I prefer to remain silent about my field for now, at least until I know that I won't be the only such person there (and thereby be automatically outed). I have no idea of how big of a group they're expecting...

Of course, if you and I are the only people who show up, we've both just outed ourselves! :P

haha, it's not really paranoia. just an attempt to retain my anonymity while politely avoiding explicit mention of the reasons for doing so; namely, that i always find it weird to meet someone whom i've already "met" online (or via e-mail, or in any other very depersonalized manner). i guess i just haven't taken well to these new-fangled media of communication...

I never heard any word from them after they told me my application is complete. The event 'on campus day' is only for invited applicants? If so, I think I have been rejected.

it depends on your field. econ and finance don't have one i think.

i heard that the econ people were not interested in meeting people before they made their decisions. i have no idea about finance.
