Interviews???
I am applying to PhD in Organizational Behavior to mostly US top schools and INSEAD. Does anyone know about the interview process? Do all schools call all the candidates that they are strongly considering or can it be the case that one is admitted without an interview? Should I be worried if I don't hear from anyone like around February?
Thanks everyone. |

Whether schools interview or not depends completely on their own sweet will.I can share the experience of one of my friends who is presently at Wharton in Management. This was his application experience:
1) Harvard DBA program in strategy: Rejected after an interview; 2) NYU Strategy program: Had a phone interview & got in after that 3) Wharton Management program: Extended him an offer (did not have an interview) 4) Columbia Management program: Extended him an offer 5) MIT’s Technology & Entrepreneurship program: Rejected him. So as you can see it is a highly subjective thing and it is not easy to generalize. You may have an interview and not get in while you might not have an interview and still get in. SB |

So, how do we prepare for phone interviews anyway? Are they valid for international students not living in the US at the present?
What kind of questions are asked and is it a surprise interview or prescheduled? |
