Hey, has anyone taken Financial Economics as a course? I just want to know the specific material that will be covered. If you've taken this course before can you tell me what was covered:
I'm pretty sure these concepts will be covered? -Capital Asset Pricing Model -Term structure of interest rates -Security valuation- -fixed income pricing formulas -portfolio management -capital structure of the firm -derivatives |

Hello Zay60,
I have not taken Financial Economics as a single course, but I did complete a Master of Arts degree in Financial Economics. Here is the curriculum for this program: Accounting I Accounting II Macroeconomics and Business Fluctuations Quantitative Analysis for Financial Markets Managerial Economics Seminar in Money and Capital Markets Financial Management I Financial Management II International Trade and Financial Economics Statistics and Econometrics: Theory and Application Seminar in Investment Financial Derivatives Within this curriculum, we definitely hit every concept you have listed in your post. And then, we hit quite a bit more things in other areas, especially international finance and economics. |
