Yes, why not, every where I look on this forum its usually about people applying to Finance. I reckon I am the only one applying to B-School IS programs in this forum right now !!

it is definitely a strong profile. Don't know about your first 4 choices as they are very challenging.

Hey Ancalagon,
I'll join your fringe team! I'm applying for an OB/HR PhD in business, and there's not many of us either.

By the way....what an awful time of the year this is. I am worrying I will not get admitted anywhere. So sad!

On another thread (PhD Economics) they are saying that a Fulbright Scholarship is seen as a signal of lack of commitment with research life. Why? Because if I accept the scholarship I would have to come back? What if I resign from Fulbright's benefits?

This situation sucks

I applied to Business Schools mainly in programs in management, risk management and finance.. I have even tried a couple of shots at econ department, just to see what happened..

hi!
am standing no where near your profiles.yet,at my end too, i really wish one school would click for me.my research proj is getting over in feb...maybe another should start thereafter.
but,how long to remain attached to a project...I know if i need to become a strong researcher/finance teacher,i need to get my basics strong.phd therefore will work right for me.plus,it should atleast set straight my non-maths background atleast to some extent.

Ancalagon,
How would you feel about having a sister instead?

Kee, sister is good, in fact, I have an elder one living in the US right now. So, I guess, you will be elder sister #2.

But she came and knelt before him, saying, "Lord, help me." And he answered, "It is not fair to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs." She said, "Yes, Lord, yet even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters' table." Then Jesus answered her, "O woman, great is your faith! Be it done for you as you desire."
